The Oceania Kung Fu Wushu Federation regrets to announce, with great sadness, the very recent death of our President, Mr Walt Missingham. We are all grateful, beyond measure, for his enormous and successful efforts in bringing Kung Fu Wushu to prominence in our Pacific region, and in supporting Chinese martial arts across the Pacific.
As our President, Mr Missingham visited many of our countries, and personally encouraged us in our efforts to show our prowess in our sport. He will be sorely missed.
Mr Missingham did leave Kung Fu – Wushu in a very good state, not withstanding the challenges in our vast region, and with a clear path to a bright future.
The Board of the Oceania Kung Fu Wushu Federation has appointed Mr Shao Zhou Ming as a Director, and has elected him as our new President.
